For the first time in several years, Beta is gearing up to bring back its bike team—and we're doing it with purpose. In 2025–2026, we’re not just returning to the race; we’re committed to fielding a competitive, high-energy team that represents the best of our brotherhood. Several active members have already stepped up to take on the challenge, bringing new momentum and enthusiasm to the effort. Alumnus Jeff Wright (B-1552) is leading the charge on the alumni front, serving as both mentor and coach to help guide the team back to prominence.
We have five members currently on the team. They will be training all summer.
Mike Reidenbach, '27
Eli Polacek, '27
Matthew Barber, '28
Logan Dintzer, '28
Owain Smith, '26
Johnathan Reynolds, '26, Bike Team Chairman
When the chapter house closed a few years ago, we suffered a major setback—nearly all of our bikes and training equipment were stolen. As we relaunch the bike team for 2025–2026, we're truly starting from square one. That means rebuilding everything: from bikes and gear to outfitting our training and bike rooms with the tools needed to compete at a high level.
To make this comeback possible, we’re turning to our alumni network for support. Whether it’s a road-worthy bike collecting dust in your garage, gently used gear, or a financial contribution to help fund new equipment, every donation brings us closer to race day.
To make a cash donation, simply follow the link below. If you’d like to donate gear or equipment, reach out directly to Jeff Wright (B-1552) through the email link/button provided below. Your support will help ensure Beta makes a strong and lasting return to Little 500!
